Last week, we were blessed with a visit from Dr. Chris Miller who is professor of biblical education and Interim Chair of the Department of Biblical Studies at Cedarville University. He came to KIU for a week to teach a course on the bible for the Academy teachers.

Many were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the class. However, Aya, one of our elementary school teachers who happens to be a Cedarville alumni, seemed not surprised at all but rather quite pleased about taking another class from one of her favorite professors.

Although I was unfortunately busy with other projects at the time, I did have a number of opportunities to interact with Dr. Miller and fellowship during lunch. It was an encouragement to hear about his life and how God has blessed him. Since he has visited Israel and Ecuador, it was fun trading stories. I was impressed to hear how he became a professor of biblical education; he simply has a great passion for the bible.
