This morning, I read an interesting article on about how the American-based is trying to compete with Japanese-based in the Japanese social networking arena. To read the article, click on the "Related Link" at the bottom of this post.

As some of you might know, I recently joined Mixi. I have found it quite interesting; there are noticable difference from MySpace. Mixi seems to be more suited to Japanese culture. Here is a bit from the article about that:
