CRASH is sending a small relief team to Chengdu in Sichuan Province China to help in the relief effort. Jonathan, Sherwood, and Ted will head up the team going on June 2nd until the 13th. Their goals there will be to "work with local groups to coordinate volunteer teams, provide critical incident stress counseling for volunteer teams as they serve in hard-hit areas and training to locals who can continue the work."
Here is the latest entry from Jonathan Wilson:
CRASH is partnering with relief workers in China to bring a 30 ton truck filled with essential supplies into the earthquake hit region of Sichuan. The cost of renting and filling the truck is roughly $7,000 USD. Pray for God to provide the necessary funds and for these supplies to be delivered by volunteers to needy families with the love of Jesus Christ.
